Finding a Bag to Match Yor Hat

There are two sentances I hear almost everyday as a Milliner. The first is, "I don't think hats suit me". I answer that question seperately in another Blog post!. The second sentance is "I don't know if I have a bag to match. What bag would I use to go with this outfit? Where can I get a bag?"

No Mother of the Bride outfit is complete without a stylish handbag. I'd even say it's more important than the shoes (it's more likely to be caught on camera than your shoes). You don't always have to match a Bag to your Hat, and the two shouldn't touch, so a perfect match is certainly not required. Although often the case that you will want to match them, if your dress has several colours, then it's perfectly acceptable to have your hat and bag in different colours picked out from the dress, and more creative than being matchy-matchy with your entire outfit.
