Finding a Bag to Match Your Hat

There are two sentances I hear almost everyday as a Milliner. The first is, "I don't think hats suit me". I answer that question seperately in another Blog post!. The second sentance is "I don't know if I have a bag to match. What bag would I use to go with this outfit? Where can I get a bag?"

No outfit for a day at the races is complete without a stylish handbag. I've seen many outfits ruined by an old handbag, or even a Tescos shopping bag - honestly, I've seen it!. Once you’ve found the dress and hat, now finish your look with a clutch bag or mini handbag for your Royal Ascot, Epsom Derby or other Racing Fashion outfits. It needn’t cost a fortune if you don't want. Keep it small, elegant and fun and it will complement your outfit. Pour on the glamour with a sparkle-embellished clutch if your dress is quite simple. Or choose a simple clutch if the dress has a lot going on. Want to try the metallic trend? Then a day at the races is a perfect day for encorporating this trend.
